Nicole Minster, the founder of Pufferfish Marketing has over 15 years experience working in Marketing roles, predominantly within IT, Learning and Development, and Recruitment Sectors. Many of these organisations required marketing to be performed "by stealth" - with little to no budget, and very short timeframes. She quickly learned to work smart and work fast to achieve success - often juggling a number of different jobs at once! A marketer first, but a salesperson, quality manager and consultant second, third and fourth, Nicole is resourceful, quick to learn and loves a challenge.
With graphic design, analytical and social media resources at her fingertips, Pufferfish Marketing has grown to become a team of experts in their given fields. AND, if we can't do what you need, we probably have resources available that can!
Pufferfish Marketing was formed to help clients - big and small - to succeed in growing their business. Small businesses can grow to be big businesses, and big businesses always need to do more to keep up with the ever changing marketplace.
The idea of pufferfish began when working with a client that had a strategy to make themselves appear bigger than they really were - and it was called the pufferfish strategy. This strategy involved a LOT of social media - the creation of blogs, tweets, LinkedIn status updates and of course, a website with content that changed rapidly.
Through the use of contractors, the organisation was promoted as having a number of experienced staff and it became recognised as a leader in its chosen field. The pufferfish strategy worked - and is achievable for every little fish out there!
